About Darby!
Darby Sandrock is a singer/songwriter based in Nashville, Tn. She grew up just outside of Pittsburgh, PA and moved to Nashville just over a year ago. She currently attends Belmont University in hopes to receive a Bachelor of Science in Songwriting. She has performed at prestigious events such as many songwriter showcases around Nashville, CMA Fest, as well as National Anthems around the country, but most notably at the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live Glow-n-Fire shows. She has a booked schedule coming up so mark your calendars!! She would describe her style as a mix between indie and pop, but pulls influences from all genres, most notably folk, rock, and musical theatre. MOST RECENT ROUND
As a songwriter in Nashville, I do my best to play around town as often as I can. This is a link to a compilation of one of the rounds that I played in in March! I hope you enjoy what you hear! This was an event at Bar Louie in Bellevue, TN through Stompin' Grounds Writers Rounds. I got the opportunity to play five original songs and I had a blast doing it. CMA Fest
On June 6th, 2025, I had the absolute pleasure of playing a few songs during a writers showcase at Teddy's Tavern on Broadway. I was given this opportunity through Nashville Universe, an organization that books writers to play events around town all year long, and they had a stage for CMA Fest and asked me to be a part of it! I always have a blast playing out, but this time was special. It is just so exciting to be surrounded by so much talent and passion.
Thank you to Nashville Universe for having me, my wonderful friends and family for coming with me, Teddy's Tavern for hosting such a beautiful event, and to everyone who has supported me along the way! I can't wait to see where I'll end up next!
